Xbox Game Pass September 2026 Wave 2 Lineup Adds Thirteen Games and Four Day-One Releases
Xbox has detailed the September 2026 Wave 2 Game Pass lineup, bringing thirteen new titles to the subscription service alongside four day-one releases, while eight games are scheduled to leave.

Xbox has officially confirmed the September 2026 Wave 2 lineup for Xbox Game Pass, introducing thirteen new games to the service alongside four day-one releases. The upcoming additions span multiple tiers, including Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass, giving subscribers a heavy roster of titles through the end of September and into early October.
Among the day-one releases is Minecraft Dungeons II on September 29, which sends up to four players into a new dimension called the Sift. It features a four-piece armor system, talismans, and a redesigned inventory. Dune: Awakening makes its console debut on September 22, bringing its open-world survival gameplay centered on water management, sandworm survival, spice harvesting, and base-building to consoles with a new single-player mode and gamepad controls. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 joins the service on September 25, now expanding to Game Pass Premium in addition to Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Other highlights include Ninja Gaiden 4 and Keeper joining Game Pass Premium alongside existing Ultimate and PC Game Pass availability.
Looking ahead to October, two major titles arrive back to back. Minecraft Dungeons II is followed by Keeper on October 2 and Gears of War: E-Day on October 6. Gears of War: E-Day arrives as a day-one release and a prequel set 14 years before the original game, following a young Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago during the Locust Horde's initial surface attack. Built in Unreal Engine 5 by The Coalition and People Can Fly, the campaign runs approximately 14 hours and supports up to four-player co-op with split-screen, plus a 12-player mode called Horde Siege. Premium members receive five days of early access starting October 1.
On the departure side, eight games will leave Xbox Game Pass on September 30. Notable exits include Atomfall, Little Nightmares II Enhanced Edition, and Sloclap kung-fu brawler Sifu, which holds a 92 percent positive rating on Steam and features a distinct aging mechanic where every death costs the player years of life. Meanwhile, Game Pass Essential picks up Rematch on September 25, granting lower-tier subscribers access to a title that was previously restricted to higher-priced plans.
