Xbox Game Pass Wave 2 Lineup Adds Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, Vapor World: Over the Mind, and More

Microsoft has detailed the latest additions heading to the Xbox Game Pass library for the second wave of August and early September 2026. The new lineup includes several day-one releases, updates for existing titles, and specific perks for subscribers across Cloud, Console, Handheld, and PC platforms.

Kicking off the immediate arrivals is Egging On, available now for Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and newly added to Game Pass Premium. Several titles follow closely throughout late August, including the narrative-driven souls-like platformer Vapor World: Over the Mind (Game Preview) on August 19, and the 2D platforming survival game Blood Dungeon on August 25. Later in the month, players can look forward to Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy on August 27, which follows Sophia's journey to the Minotaur's Island.

Other additions arriving across the service tiers include BlazBlue Entropy Effect X, Relooted, Starsand Island, Aerial_Knight’s DropShot, the 1.0 full release of Young Suns on August 31, and the submarine-based incremental game Shelldiver on September 1. Additionally, Wolfenstein 3D recently became available on Xbox Series X|S and Cloud Gaming on August 12. Alongside these games, subscribers gain access to in-game benefits such as a console-exclusive avatar and monthly Meta Pass for Once Human starting August 25, and an XP Stock Bundle for World of Tanks Modern Armor arriving September 1.

Meanwhile, subscribers should note titles scheduled to leave the library soon. Games departing on August 31 include Another Crab’s Treasure, I Am Your Beast, Neon Abyss, One Lonely Outpost, and The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt- Remastered Edition. Furthermore, NBA 2K26 is scheduled to leave the service on September 6.
