Xbox Disc To Digital Program Expands To Delta and Omega Insider Rings

The Xbox Disc to Digital feature is now rolling out to Delta and Omega Insider rings, expanding testing across all Insider tiers ahead of an anticipated public release.

The upcoming Xbox Disc to Digital feature is continuing its expansion through the Xbox Insider program. Following its initial deployment to the Alpha, Alpha Skip-Ahead, and Beta rings, the feature has now been extended to encompass the Delta and Omega rings as well. According to communications regarding the rollout, the update is reaching most participants in those tiers, though users who joined the Omega ring within the days immediately preceding the announcement may not receive the update right away.

With this latest expansion, the Disc to Digital feature is now technically accessible across every Xbox Insider ring. This widespread availability suggests that a full public release for all users could be approaching in the near future, potentially arriving within weeks or days rather than months, provided no significant bugs emerge during testing. While these timelines remain speculative pending official confirmation, the feature has reportedly been well-received by users currently testing it as developers look toward adding support for more titles moving forward.
