The Witcher 3 Complete Edition Now 50% Off on PS Store, Free PS5 Remaster Upgrade Launches September 29

CD Projekt RED is running a limited-time sale on The Witcher 3: Complete Edition for PlayStation 5, reducing the price to $24.99 USD (£17.49 GBP). Players who purchase the Complete Edition during this promotion will automatically receive a free upgrade to the remastered version when it launches on September 29.

The Complete Edition includes all of Geralt's base game content plus the acclaimed expansions Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. At the discounted price, this represents substantial value for players who have not yet experienced the open-world RPG.

The remastered edition takes full advantage of PS5 and PS5 Pro hardware. On PS5 Pro, the remaster targets 60 frames per second with ray tracing enabled and leverages PSSR upscaling technology for image quality. The remaster introduces a comprehensive list of improvements across visuals and gameplay systems.

According to CD Projekt RED, the remastered version aims to feel like a current-generation release. The studio has implemented significant graphical enhancements and refined gameplay mechanics throughout the experience.

The sale on The Witcher 3: Complete Edition runs until October 8, providing players with a window to purchase and secure eligibility for the free remaster upgrade. Players who already own the game on PS5 will receive the remaster as an update rather than a separate edition, with no new trophy list.

The remaster includes expanded accessibility options such as health regeneration, auto loot, and infinite item durability, alongside the visual and performance improvements.
