Tower codes in Wardogs pull the Hot Zone to your position

Hacking terminals on tower upper floors yields one digit each in Wardogs' strategic control mechanic. Collect all codes or guess them to reposition the Hot Zone and multiply your team's scoring power.

Wardogs matches hinge on controlling the Hot Zone, a roaming area that counts players within it double toward your team's score. Tower codes are the primary tool for pulling this zone to your location.

Each tower on a map holds one digit of the code. Hack the terminal on a tower's upper internal floor to retrieve that digit. Since maps contain between two and five towers, codes range from two to five digits long. You can attempt the code three times before the panel locks and enters cooldown.

Once you activate a tower with the correct code, the Hot Zone moves toward your position. This lets your team stack players in the Control Zone more effectively, accelerating your path to the 100 points needed to win.

Tower codes aren't your only option. You can build a drill at your FOB (Forward Operating Base), deliver fuel to it, and activate it to pull the zone instead. The drill requires a minimum fuel threshold before it will operate, and the more fuel you add, the longer it runs. However, pulling the zone to yourself creates a defensive vulnerability. Even with the Hot Zone repositioned, you must hold it against enemy pressure to secure the scoring advantage.
