Community-Backed WARDOGS League Europe Prepares for Launch Ahead of Game's Early Access Release

A community-backed esports initiative is already taking shape for WARDOGS, the highly anticipated first-person shooter developed by BULKHEAD. Despite the game not yet being available to the general public, interested competitors are rapidly organizing, signaling high anticipation for the upcoming shooter following a series of successful tests hosted by the developer.

Known as WARDOGS League Europe (WDLEU), the newly emerged competitive platform is preparing to launch its activities shortly after the game enters early access next week. The community-led organization describes its format as a season of three-way rounds played among national WARDOGS communities, utilizing a single continental table to crown a champion who must then defend their title.

Even before the game's official early access launch, WDLEU's website boasts registrations from over 30 teams, more than 500 players, and representations from over 30 nations. To participate, users can sign up via Discord, link their accounts on the platform's website, and organize matchmaking with other competitors. Because of the large-scale nature of WARDOGS, teams are required to roster 30 players to field a full side. Within the platform, participants can join regional squads, issue challenges to other teams, or seek out opponents.

While no formal tournament schedules are active yet due to the game's unreleased status, friendly matches are already scheduled for the week following the early access launch. These initial matchups are intended to give participating teams a brief window to practice and refine their skills before official league competitions begin in earnest.
