MOUZ advanced to the Pro League playoffs with a 2-0 victory over Team Spirit, winning on Dust2 and Mirage. The result snapped Spirit's run of 32 consecutive match wins in Swiss-format group stages, a streak that had stretched across ten events.

In an interview with HLTV, Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás described the team's earlier StarSeries performance as a "nice slap in the face." He said MOUZ took that event too easily during what he called a honeymoon period with new player Oldřich "PR" Nový. The loss forced the squad to reassess and increase their workload ahead of Pro League.

Preparation played a decisive role against Spirit. On Dust2, MOUZ neutralized Danil "donk" Kryshkovets by anticipating his tendency to cross through the first door smoke. Torzsi noted that donk was hit with HE grenades each time he attempted the play, leaving him at a significant health disadvantage. Torzsi himself recorded at least four entry kills on the CT side of Dust2.

The B site on Dust2, long identified as a weakness for MOUZ, held firm. Torzsi credited PR and Lotan "Spinx" Giladi for finally finding a comfortable setup. PR told teammates after the match that he felt confident and proud of the work he had put in. The improved coordination allowed MOUZ to shut down Spirit's original game plan.

On Mirage, the first half was scrappy with both sides struggling to convert rounds. Torzsi acknowledged missing crucial shots in the second half that could have closed the map sooner, but he expressed satisfaction with the overall level of play.

With this win, MOUZ lead the seasonal map count against Spirit 6-4 with the current lineup. Torzsi emphasized the importance of form heading into the Major, noting that the Valve Regional Standings affect rankings, stickers, and progression. The team's stated goal for Pro League is the trophy, with the immediate target of reaching the semi-finals.
