Vaewolf Story Trailer Reveals Half-Werewolf Revenge Quest in Hades-Style Action RPG

Milky Tea revealed the story trailer for Vaewolf, a Hades-style action RPG announced at gamescom 2026. The game follows a half-werewolf, half-vampire seeking revenge after a Viking clan assassinated their entire family.

The protagonist begins as an innocent elf in the ancient English North. After surviving a werewolf attack on their village, they become a uniquely powerful hybrid creature, combining an elf's precision, a werewolf's physical strength, and a vampire's dark magic. Players can shapeshift at will, combine abilities for powerful strikes, and unlock new powers throughout their journey.

Vaewolf features hand-drawn environments based on real locations across the English Lake District, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Northwest England. The visual style blends Hergé's heartwarming comics with Mike Mignola's darker comic aesthetic, creating hand-painted 2D artwork that resembles a superhero comic book.

The action RPG launches in early 2027 on PC, Xbox, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. Players can already wishlist the title on Epic Games Store and Steam.
