Thunder Hoop Collection Secures Nintendo Switch Release Date and New Trailer

QUByte Interactive has provided an update on Thunder Hoop Collection, confirming the official release date for the Nintendo Switch version. Players can purchase the collection starting on October 8, 2026, for $9.99. Alongside the date announcement, a new release date trailer has also been released.

The package includes two full games from the arcade era. Players get the original 1992 arcade game Thunder Hoop alongside its 1994 sequel, TH Strikes Back. In the games, players must defeat Professor Genbreak's mutant army, master precise jumps, and grab powerful weapons to protect lab-created DNA. The titles feature 2D side-scrolling arcade action where players navigate levels infested with runaway genetic experiments, climb ladders, avoid traps, collect weapon power-ups, and fight gigantic bosses.

Thunder Hoop Collection supports both solo play and local multiplayer action with a friend. Additionally, the release comes packed with modern quality-of-life enhancements. These features include Rewind, Save States, and CRT video filters to provide an updated way to experience the retro titles.
