The Witcher 3 DLC Expansions Now Completely Free on Xbox Ahead of Remaster

CD Projekt Red has announced that both major DLC expansions for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt—Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine—are now completely free on Xbox. Previously, picking up both stellar downloadable content expansions required paying around $30 for the pair.

This surprise offering arrives ahead of a newly announced The Witcher 3 Remaster coming next month from CD Projekt Red. Additionally, an all-new DLC titled Songs of the Past has been scheduled for release in 2027.

While existing owners of the role-playing game will receive all of this content included in next month's upcoming remaster, the current move provides a great opportunity for Xbox One users to secure all the foundational DLC expansions at no extra cost before the updated version launches.
