Supernatural Returns to Quest in October as Independent App With Meta VR Glasses Support
The VR fitness app, previously maintained by Meta, relaunches under new independent company Supernatural Fitness with enhanced visuals and compatibility with Meta's upcoming lightweight VR glasses.

Supernatural, Meta's VR fitness app that entered maintenance mode, has been relaunched as an independent company called Supernatural Fitness. The new app will launch in October on Meta Quest headsets and will be a day one title for Meta's newly announced lightweight VR Glasses.
The lightweight VR Glasses will enable visual upgrades impossible on current hardware. Supernatural Fitness plans "real destinations rendered at a fidelity that wasn't possible until now, coaches who feel like they're exercising right in front of you, and hardware so light the only thing you feel is the workout." Meta's VP of Product Management Angela Chang noted that the VR Glasses will include optional light blockers for immersion and a rear strap similar to croakies for securing the headset during exercise.
Supernatural Fitness has transferred all user statistics from the legacy app to the new version, preserving every point, streak, and badge. The relaunched app features new higher-definition environments, workouts, and music alongside improvements shipping this year and beyond. Visual enhancements are already visible in the Flow workout mode, which now includes color and design elements beyond the original black and white palette. A new hands-free exercise mode suggests hand tracking may be available for the first time, enabling workouts without controllers.
Monthly subscriptions cost $19.99 or $199.99 annually. Founding members can register on the Supernatural Fitness website before launch to secure a discounted first-year rate of $180.
