Byteproduct announced that Sturmjager, a science-fiction shoot 'em up, will launch on Nintendo Switch on January 14, 2027.

The game features 10 action-packed levels with distinct visual themes and custom soundtracks spanning environments from outer space to the ocean floor. Each stage culminates in boss fights. Players can tackle missions solo or with a friend in local co-op mode.

Sturmjager offers three game modes and three difficulty levels. The core gameplay follows a simple directive: shoot anything that moves, and shoot stationary objects for good measure. The game emphasizes aggressive, precise play through a deep scoring system that rewards quick kills, kill chains, close-quarters attacks, and no-death runs with score multipliers.

Scores feed into global online leaderboards, allowing players to compare performance against other pilots worldwide. The game is designed for genre veterans seeking high replayability and competitive depth.
