STALKER 2 Patch 2.0.5 Delivers Over 200 Fixes Across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation

GSC Game World has released STALKER 2 Patch 2.0.5 on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, delivering over 200 fixes and adjustments following the launch of the Cost of Hope expansion. The update focuses on bug fixes, performance improvements, and balance tweaks across the new region and the rest of the Zone.

The patch addresses a wide range of issues. Controller stick sensitivity on PC has been corrected, and system notifications now disappear properly. Nighttime sequences no longer freeze mid-playthrough. NPC hearing during foggy, rainy, and thundery weather has been adjusted, and visual glitches such as floating clothing during cutscenes and rodents trailing psi-illusions have been resolved.

Quest-specific problems are also covered. Fixes include Max Saturday teleporting during The Lost Boys mission, explosives failing to detonate during In Memory of the Fallen, and dialogue with Mavka being blocked by grenades during Moving in the Shadows. The HUD now appears correctly after cutscenes in The Price of a Miracle, and reputation with Duty no longer locks on Neutral during In Memory of the Fallen.

Additional changes include a balance tweak to technician prices, anti-rad items added to trader Suslov, and corrections to weapon attachment behavior during cutscenes. Spawn rates for pseudodogs at Iron Forest and Monolith NPCs at Wild Island have been normalized, and several NPCs no longer teleport or clip through geometry after loading saves.
