South Korea swept the Asian Games 2026 League of Legends group stage with a perfect 3-0 record, securing their spot in the semi-finals. The team defeated Chinese Taipei in 25 minutes, Team India in 18 minutes, and Hong Kong in 22 minutes across Best of 1 rapid format matches.

In the opening group contest against Chinese Taipei, South Korea fielded Choi 'Zeus' Woo-je on top, Kim 'Canyon' Geon-bu in the jungle, Kim 'Zeka' Geon-woo in the mid lane, Lee 'Gumayusi' Min-hyung as AD carry, and Ryu 'Keria' Min-seok on support. Zeus dominated on Olaf while Keria, Zeka, and Gumayusi each recorded at least 10 assists in the decisive victory.

The second match against Team India marked Lee 'Faker' Sang-hyeok's appearance in the tournament. Gumayusi put up a dominant 11/0/1 KDA on Lucian while Faker finished 4/3/6 in the 18-minute stomp that sent South Korea to 2-0.

For the final group stage match against Hong Kong, Zeka returned to mid lane as Gumayusi remained on AD carry. Canyon highlighted the performance with a 6/1/11 scoreline on Lee Sin, while Keria's Bard support earned 17 assists and 2 kills as he roamed across the map.

South Korea will face Saudi Arabia in the semi-finals in a Best of 3 match. Vietnam also advanced with a 3-0 group record, while Saudi Arabia progressed through wins against Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates. The tournament winner will face either Vietnam or Chinese Taipei in the Best of 5 grand final. The absence of a Chinese roster from the tournament is notable, as China traditionally competes as South Korea's primary rival in League of Legends esports.
