Sony Sells Lego Astro Bot Individually Without Lego PlayStation Requirement
Sony is selling the standalone Lego Astro Bot figure separately, bypassing Lego's own promotion which requires a minimum purchase amount.
Sony is offering the Lego Astro Bot character for purchase as a standalone item. This separate availability means that fans of the series do not need to purchase the Lego PlayStation console set in order to obtain the Astro Bot figure.
This sales model differs from how Lego is distributing the product on its own official store. On the Lego website, the Astro Bot figure is not sold individually. Instead, Lego's site only makes the Lego Astro Bot available to customers as a free gift when they spend a certain amount on the online store. By selling the figure separately, Sony offers consumers a direct way to acquire the collectible without having to meet Lego's spending requirements or buy the larger Lego PlayStation set.
