Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Reveals Free DLC Characters Including Classic Sonic, Axel, and Amigo

Nintendo Everything has announced the latest wave of downloadable content characters for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, bringing iconic faces to the racing title for free on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The new lineup of playable racers features Classic Sonic, Axel from Crazy Taxi, and Amigo from Samba de Amigo. In addition to these character additions, developers have announced a brand-new SEGA Music Collection.

Players eager to hit the track do not have to wait long for the first wave of content. Classic Sonic is available starting today. Following the initial release, Axel from Crazy Taxi is scheduled to arrive in August. Finally, Amigo from Samba de Amigo rounds out the trio with a scheduled release in September. All of these characters and the accompanying music collection additions are completely free for players on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
