Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown arrives as Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial in Europe

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is now available as a Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial in Europe, starting September 23. Members with an active subscription can play the full game for free until September 30, and any progress made during the trial transfers to the purchased version.

The game is a stylish action-adventure platformer set in a mythological Persian world. Players control Sargon, a sword-wielding protagonist who masters acrobatic combat and unlocks Time Powers and unique abilities throughout the adventure. The combat system emphasizes performing deadly combos using Time Powers, platforming skills, and combat techniques to defeat time-corrupted enemies and mythological creatures.

The world features Persian-inspired landmarks and detailed biomes, each with distinct visual identity and environmental hazards. Beyond combat and platforming, the game includes puzzle-solving, treasure hunting, and quests that explore the game's corrupted Persian mythological setting and story.

Nintendo has only announced the trial for Europe so far. North American availability for this Game Trial has not been confirmed.
