Pokemon Pokopia Halloween Event Adds Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist
A Halloween event begins October 17 in Pokemon Pokopia, introducing Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist. Players collect Pumpkin Candy by transforming into items to surprise Pokemon, then exchange the currency for themed furniture.
Pokemon Pokopia is hosting a Halloween event starting October 17, running through November 1. The event introduces Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist to the game, with players participating in a midnight festival celebration.
During the event, players visit towns and transform into furniture and other items to surprise Pokemon. When Pokemon approach transformed players, they receive Pumpkin Candy as a reward. This special currency can be exchanged at the Pokemon Center for Halloween-themed furniture and decorations.
The event follows a four-step progression. Players first talk to Pumpkaboo near the Pokemon Center to begin befriending it. They then collect Pumpkin Candy through the transformation mechanic, exchange their collected candy for special items at the Pokemon Center, and finally use those items to create a habitat for Pumpkaboo to complete the friendship.
Version 2.0.1 is required to participate in the event. Pokemon Pokopia is available on Nintendo Switch.
