Pokémon Pokopia has received a Version 2.0.1 update focused entirely on bug fixes. The patch resolves several critical issues that were affecting gameplay stability and functionality.

According to the official patch notes, the update addresses six specific problems: an issue where Ho-Oh and Lugia would repeatedly fall and reappear under certain conditions; a Pokédex search bug preventing players from finding Pokémon; an issue where the "Move Kit" could not be picked up under certain conditions; repeated sound effects playing unexpectedly; the game stopping from responding; and a particularly troublesome bug causing the game to get stuck on the loading screen.

Version 2.0.1 follows the significant 2.0.0 update that launched in August, which came alongside the paid Expansion Pass DLC "Bubbly Basin" and a free update. The new patch requires all players to be running the same version when engaging in local multiplayer communication, and the latest update data is required to access online features.
