PlayStation Podcast Highlights September Releases: Minecraft Dungeons II, Ghost of Yōtei, Ace Combat 8

The Official PlayStation Podcast returned this week to cover September's biggest releases and games the team is currently playing.

Notable upcoming titles discussed include Minecraft Dungeons II, Toem 2, Way of the Hunter 2, End of Abyss, Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered, Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition, Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, and Silent Hill: Townfall, all coming to PS5.

The podcast featured hands-on impressions of Silent Hill: Townfall, highlighting how the new claustrophobic perspective transforms mundane actions like checking emails and opening doors into terrifying moments that elevate gameplay.

Host Sid Shuman and the team also discussed an upcoming Ace Combat 8 hands-on experience ahead of the game's October 2 launch. The podcast described how the game uses a first-person perspective to tell an intimate story with compelling characters, giving players narrative stakes in every dogfight.

PlayStation announced a Lisa Limited Edition DualSense controller available for pre-order on October 2, designed with input from the artist herself.
