Payday: Aces High VR Heist Shooter Launches Free Playtest October 19

Fast Travel Games is holding an open playtest for Payday: Aces High, its upcoming co-op VR heist shooter, on October 19. Anyone who participates will receive an exclusive Kitty Mask as a reward.

The playtest will run simultaneously on Meta Quest and Steam. Quest players must sign up for the playtest build, while Steam players can access a public demo through the game's Steam page. Wishlist the game on Steam to receive a notification when the demo goes live. Players who participated in the limited August closed preview will need to register again for October.

This October playtest will feature two heists for testing. The August preview included only the tutorial and first heist, and participants reported strong impressions of the overall experience. The full game will launch with six heists, with additional heists planned before the end of 2026.

Payday: Aces High is a cooperative VR title that puts players in the role of criminals planning and executing heists. The game emphasizes teamwork and strategy across multiple scenarios.
