Otomate is developing a retro-style romance visual novel set in post-war Japan that explores themes of love and deception. The game is directed by Aoki Hiroe, known for previous titles including Sympathy Kiss and Lover Pretend.

Character design duties have been handed to Makoto Senzaki, an artist recognized for work on Fate/Grand Order. The combination of Hiroe's direction and Senzaki's character art suggests Otomate is positioning the title as a character-driven narrative experience.

The studio has not yet disclosed a release date, platform availability, or additional story details. Visual novels remain a significant category for Otomate, particularly titles targeting players interested in romance and narrative-focused gameplay. The post-war Japan setting differentiates this project from many contemporary visual novels, which often favor contemporary or fantasy backdrops.
