Nightdive Confirms New Campaign The Tarnished Mirror for Thief Remastered

Nightdive Studios has officially confirmed The Tarnished Mirror, a new campaign for its upcoming Thief: The Dark Project Remastered. The studio broke the news days after the title leaked through a mass Steam achievements leak. Nightdive released a self-aware teaser video acknowledging the leak speculation, closing on Garrett character art from illustrator Alexandru Dominus Negoita and the new campaign logo. A full reveal for the project is scheduled for November 2nd.

In the teaser video, the character Garrett remarks that it is not so secret anymore. Nightdive has not yet detailed what the new campaign involves, leaving specifics for the upcoming November showcase. The studio previously announced Thief: The Dark Project Remastered in June, highlighting plans for visual upgrades, quality of life improvements such as a weapon wheel and mission selector, and support for 4K resolution at 120 frames per second using the KEX Engine.

Thief: The Dark Project Remastered currently carries a Winter launch window across multiple platforms. Players can expect releases on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4. Until the November reveal provides more information, Nightdive has offered the teaser trailer to address the recent leak situation.
