New Games Announced for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch

Multiple games have been announced for both the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 and the original Switch console. Hoarder, developed by Awaken Realms and Byzel, will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027. The game begins as a cleaning simulator but "spirals into a distant nightmare," with players scavenging a hoarder's house to recover forgotten items. Details about its full scope remain limited.

Jarcorp's Amphibian, a somber 2D RPG inspired by classic console adventures, is set for a 2028 release on Nintendo Switch. The game explores themes of family, sacrifice, and generational violence in a world populated by anthropomorphic frogs and toads, drawing comparisons to Golden Sun and Fire Emblem.

LazyFlock's Haunted Paws, a cozy co-op horror game, will release on both Nintendo Switch 2 and the original Switch. Players control puppies rescuing their human friend from a haunted mansion, though no release window has been announced yet.

Veewo Games' Neon Abyss 2, a cybermyth roguelike, is scheduled for a fall release on Nintendo Switch. The sequel to the original game will support up to four-player online co-op, expanded combat styles, and unlimited item synergies.
