Free Aurora Cape Now Available in Minecraft via Twitch Drops and TikTok

A new cosmetic cape is now available to all Minecraft players at no cost. The Aurora Cape features a bright pastel design and can be claimed on both Java and Bedrock Edition through two separate promotional channels.

Players on Twitch can obtain the cape by watching any Twitch Partner or Affiliate stream Minecraft Dungeons 2 for 15 minutes. TikTok users have a shorter requirement, needing to watch just three minutes of Minecraft Dungeons 2 content on a stream with Game Rewards enabled. Both platforms require an account to participate.

Once the viewing requirement is met, players receive a code to redeem on Minecraft's official redemption page. After redemption, the Aurora Cape is added to the player's account and can be equipped or unequipped in-game at any time.

The promotion begins September 29 at 12 AM PT and concludes October 14 at 11:59 PM PT, giving players just over two weeks to claim the cosmetic. Given the short viewing windows required on both platforms, the process is relatively quick compared to many other Twitch Drops campaigns.

Capes have historically been among the most sought-after cosmetics in Minecraft, often locked behind special events, promotions, or limited-time opportunities. The Aurora Cape joins this category as a time-limited offering.
