LOUD drops Counter-Strike roster before official announcement
Brazilian esports organization LOUD has dismissed its Counter-Strike team without ever publicly introducing them, citing regulatory pressures affecting the region's competitive landscape.

Brazilian esports giant LOUD has dropped its Counter-Strike roster before the team was ever officially announced to the public.
IGL Leonardo "zmb" Toledo and head coach Pablo "disturbed" Fernandes confirmed the dismissal on X, stating they are no longer under contract with LOUD. The pair said the team intends to remain together but is open to individual offers.
LOUD completed the signing of what became known as the LP roster in May and teased their Counter-Strike expansion on social media. According to Dust2 Brasil, the organization covered registration fees for multiple tournaments and a bootcamp in Portugal. LP finished 5th-8th at three consecutive LAN events in Portugal: Roman Imperium Cup VIII, HyperX Retake Season 12, and LeonBet Masters Season 1.
The move reflects mounting pressure on Brazilian esports following President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's order banning fixed-odd sports betting. On the same day LOUD announced the roster dismissal, Keyd Stars announced they were pausing their Counter-Strike division, citing "recent changes in the competitive landscape and in the country's business and regulatory environment."
The LP roster includes Leonardo "zmb" Toledo, Leonardo "Leomonster" Enrique, Alisson "Alisson" Farias, Guilherme "happ" Bento, Gustavo "divine" Santicioli Altapini, and coach Pablo "disturbed" Fernandes.
