LNZ Points to Inexperience After MIBR Semi-Final Loss to Legacy
Following a narrow 2-1 defeat to Legacy, MIBR captain Linus "LNZ" Holtäng discussed his team's lack of high-pressure experience and ongoing roster adjustments.

Following a narrow 2-1 defeat in the semi-finals, MIBR captain Linus "LNZ" Holtäng addressed his team's shortcomings in high-pressure scenarios. MIBR suffered a 2-1 series loss to Legacy after surrendering a lead on Inferno, which culminated in Legacy overturning a two-versus-five situation in the final round of overtime.
Speaking to HLTV after the match, LNZ pointed to a lack of experience in big games as a primary factor in the defeat. He noted that this was the first semi-final appearance for the current lineup and that individual players struggled to replicate their usual performances. According to the Swedish captain, Legacy ultimately hit harder shots and made fewer mistakes during the closing moments of the series.
The tournament marked an early milestone for MIBR following recent roster adjustments, including the integration of tomaszin and limited practice time with nqz. Back in June, LNZ called for a five-player balance to avoid relying on individual carry performances. When asked about failing to convert early advantages on Nuke despite winning the opening-kill battle, LNZ explained that the team is still navigating trial and error as they learn to play together.
Addressing their recurring matchups against Legacy, which marked their seventh meeting of the year, LNZ described the opponents as unpredictable. He noted that Legacy possesses strong individuals who can pull out any round at any time. However, LNZ felt that MIBR's adjusted game plan brought them closer than ever to securing a victory against the familiar rivals, despite the eventual elimination.
