Liquid and NIP eliminated from Logitech G Play Connect group stage
Ninjas in Pyjamas and Liquid failed to advance from the round-robin groups at the $100,000 LAN event in Warsaw, with NIP now unlikely to qualify for PGL Major Singapore.

The group stage of Logitech G Play Connect concluded with two major esports organizations eliminated from contention. Ninjas in Pyjamas finished with a 1-4 record, their single victory coming against Metizport, while Liquid fell to BBL in their final group match despite fielding a stand-in player and playing without coach Viktor "flashie" Tamás Bea.
For NIP, the poor showing marks another setback in a difficult season. The organization is now all but guaranteed to miss PGL Major Singapore qualification. Liquid, however, remains in a stronger position for Major qualification despite their Warsaw struggles and should still make the cut for Singapore.
Group A was won by B8, the Ukrainian team advancing without dropping a single map. Luminosity and M80 joined B8 in advancing from Group A, each posting 3-2 records to secure quarter-final spots. Inner Circle topped Group B before losing their final group match to EYEBALLERS, who had already secured a playoff berth. EYEBALLERS, BBL, and 3DMAX all finished 3-2 in Group B, but EYEBALLERS missed the quarter-finals after losing head-to-head matchups to both BBL and 3DMAX.
GamerLegion also failed to advance from groups and are likely to miss the Major, though they played without Fredrik "REZ" Sterner due to food poisoning. The tournament now moves to single-elimination BO3 matches, culminating in a BO5 grand final.
