Limited Run Games to Release Lord of the Rings: War in the North Physically

Limited Run Games has announced a physical release for The Lord of the Rings: War in the North - Legacy Edition. The move follows Aspyr's recent digital revival of the action RPG across Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and other platforms.

The Lord of the Rings: War in the North originally released in 2011 as a cooperative action role-playing game. Aspyr's Legacy Edition modernizes the title for current hardware, expanding its availability beyond its original platforms.

Physical releases from Limited Run Games typically arrive in limited quantities and include collectible packaging. The company specializes in bringing digital-only games to physical media, often with special editions that appeal to collectors.

The exact release date and pricing for the physical version have not been specified. Players interested in the physical release should monitor Limited Run Games' official announcements for further details on availability and pre-order windows.
