Publisher Neowiz has filed a European Union trademark for a project titled Wonders of O, sparking speculation that it is the official name for the upcoming sequel to Lies of P. The trademark was spotted on the European Union Intellectual Property Office website. It shares classification categories and a naming structure similar to the original game, leading observers to connect it to Round8 Studio's ongoing development efforts.

The trademark filing lists categories that include virtual reality game software, interactive multimedia software, and amusement arcade services. Neowiz filed the trademark on September 10, 2026. While developers have not officially confirmed the title, the name aligns closely with the post-credits tease featured at the conclusion of Lies of P.

Players who completed the dark Souls-like action game witnessed an ending cutscene that directly referenced The Wizard of Oz. In the scene, a character revealed to be Paracelsus speaks on a train and mentions finding a girl named Dorothy, whose iconic red shoes appear as she looks out over the city of Krat. The Wonders of O title suggests that Round8 Studio will center its narrative sequel around L. Frank Baum's classic fairy tale.

Development on the sequel entered the full development phase by May 2026. Neowiz co-CEO Sean Kim stated earlier in the year that the team at Round8 Studio is fully focused on development, though specific details remain under wraps. Narrative director Kwon Byungsoo also noted the team's drive to exceed expectations following the reception of the base game and its Overture expansion.
