Kingdom of Night Arrives on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S November 5

The 80s-inspired isometric action RPG from Friends of Safety launches on consoles following its December 2025 PC release, with platform-specific bonuses and local co-op support.

Dangen Entertainment has announced that Kingdom of Night will launch on November 5 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The isometric action RPG, developed by Friends of Safety, originally released on PC in December 2025.

Set in 1987, Kingdom of Night places players in a small town where a satanic cult summons the ancient evil Baphomet, plunging the community into chaos. Players control a young man named John tasked with fighting back against demons and rescuing friends. The game features five distinct character classes with customizable abilities, procedural demon lairs, and gear collection mechanics.

Local co-op mode lets two players team up simultaneously using different character classes. The PC version has earned praise for blending 1980s nostalgia with supernatural horror, pixel art aesthetics, open exploration, and character customization options.

Console versions include platform-specific perks. Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X|S players can preorder at a 10% discount. PlayStation 5 players can purchase the exclusive Kingdom of Night – Midnight Edition, which includes 25 PSN avatars based on in-game characters. The game is currently available on Steam.
