Kalanoro has launched on Nintendo Switch. The action-adventure title from Red Raketa draws inspiration from Malagasy folklore and combines platforming, combat and light management gameplay.

The game centers on assembling a band of lemur artists to challenge the witch Raneny's rule over Lemuria. Players dash through diverse biomes, save and recruit locals to join their crew, and navigate industrial platforming sections. Combat uses hair-based powers and improvised weapons, including slippers, to defeat enemies and face off against bosses.

Beyond combat, players manage their tour bus through mini-games and build their band's popularity with locals to unlock performances on larger stages. The progression system ties band assembly directly to story advancement, with players tasked with becoming Lemuria's number one band before confronting Raneny.

Kalanoro is available now on the Nintendo eShop.
