PSVR Dolphin Game 'Jupiter & Mars: Definitive Edition' Hits Switch This Week

Developer Tigertron has announced that the underwater adventure game Jupiter & Mars is making its way to the Nintendo Switch eShop as a revamped Definitive Edition. The title is scheduled to launch this week on September 10, 2026.

Originally created for VR platforms such as PSVR and from the producer of Lumines Electronic Symphony, the game places players in the role of dolphins swimming through the ocean. The new Nintendo Switch release features a wealth of additions and improvements, including a new default third-person camera perspective, graphical enhancements, and quality-of-life upgrades. Additionally, the definitive version includes a new ending theme song titled 'Blue Life' by Japanese electronic music and techno legend Ken Ishii, which was not featured in the original release.

Reviews for the original virtual reality version of the game were somewhat mixed, with Push Square awarding it a 6/10 score and describing it as a short, chilled-out experience that could have explored its concept further. Nonetheless, the upcoming Definitive Edition offers players another chance to dive into the oceanic adventure on Nintendo Switch.
