Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades 2 Launches On Quest 3 In November

Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades 2 launches November 12 for Meta Quest 3, with pre-orders now available at a 10% discount. Developer Anton Hand announced the release date in a new YouTube video alongside an updated trailer.

The PC VR version will follow in the second half of 2027 with enhanced graphics and a dedicated modding framework. Rust Ltd. will assemble a community testing team to verify compatibility across PC VR devices.

The sequel expands on the original award-winning VR sandbox FPS with multiple gameplay modes designed for broader accessibility. The primary mode, Facility, is an extraction-style campaign where players battle enemies and loot resources in a procedurally generated megastructure.

Hand said the game will operate as a "pseudo-live service" with two new biomes planned per year. New game modes, sandbox packs, and licensed content will be available as paid DLC.

Players can pre-order H3VR2 now for Quest 3 or add the Steam version to their wishlist ahead of its 2027 release.
