HEROIC wins Stake Pulse Beat II, rallies past 100 Thieves in Stockholm final
HEROIC claimed their second LAN trophy since summer roster changes, defeating 100 Thieves 2-1 in the Stake Pulse Beat II final after surviving two championship points on Ancient.

HEROIC won Stake Pulse Beat II in Stockholm on Saturday, defeating 100 Thieves 2-1 in a thrilling final that saw the Danish squad mount a comeback after dropping the opening map.
After losing Dust2, HEROIC survived two championship points on Ancient, forcing a decider on Inferno where they dominated 13-4. Tim "susp" Ångström nearly went deathless in the first half of Inferno as HEROIC controlled the map throughout.
The victory marks HEROIC's second LAN title since the summer arrivals of Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin and Antonio "MartinezSa" Martinez. The team, which won Stake Ranked Episode 3 in Barcelona in July, climbed ten places in rankings to 17th globally and 13th in Europe following this title.
100 Thieves' campaign showed promise despite the loss. They earned 127 Valve points and jumped 14 places to 27th in the global rankings, keeping their Major qualification hopes alive. The team faces three more LAN events before the Major invite cutoff: ROG Journey Autumn, Stake Pulse Beat III, and FiRe Last Chance.
Ancient proved the turning point. 100 Thieves reached championship point with a dominant 6-0 run on the T side, but HEROIC equalized and forced double overtime to secure the map. Håvard "rain" Nygaard led 100 Thieves' charge with a 2.24 rating during their T-side control sequences.
