Hell Is Us Delayed Again on Switch 2, Now Launching October 27

Hell Is Us is shifting its Switch 2 launch date again. Developer Rogue Factor announced the game will now arrive on October 27, 2026, after previously delaying from September 24 to October 8 in July.

The latest delay stems from "logistical and distribution issues" beyond the team's control, according to an official statement. To provide a consistent experience across all platforms, Rogue Factor is also moving a major update celebrating the game's first anniversary to the same October 27 date.

Hell Is Us debuted on other platforms last year and combines third-person action combat with exploration in a semi-open world. The game tasks players with investigating a mysterious calamity that has spawned supernatural creatures immune to modern weapons. Rather than traditional guidance systems, the experience emphasizes player instinct, featuring no map, compass, or quest markers. Combat relies on a variety of melee weapons including swords, spears, and axes, alongside a drone tool that aids survival.

The game has earned "very positive" ratings on Steam and was praised as a "must-play" for fans of lore-driven mystery experiences. Rogue Factor's first July delay cited September's crowded release window, which included titles like The Blood of Dawnwalker, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Marvel's Wolverine, and Silent Hill: Townfall, alongside the Switch 2 exclusive Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave.

The postponement aims to give the game and its supporting team a clearer market position. Hell Is Us will now face less direct competition for player attention in late October.
