Hades in Concert: Ballads of the Underworld Full Video Released on YouTube
Game Music Festival and Supergiant Games have released the complete recording of Ballads of the Underworld, a concert celebrating the music of Hades and Hades II, now available free on YouTube in 4K.

Game Music Festival and Supergiant Games have released the full concert recording of Ballads of the Underworld on YouTube, making the performance available free to viewers worldwide in 4K quality. The concert took place at London's Royal Festival Hall on June 27, 2026, and marks the sixth anniversary of the original Hades.
The performance featured composer Darren Korb and vocalist Ashley Barrett from Supergiant Games, alongside voice actors Judy Alice Lee (Melinoë), Erin Yvette (Scylla), and Colin Ryan (Apollo). The London Mozart Players provided orchestral accompaniment under the direction of Grammy-nominated and BAFTA-winning conductor Austin Wintory.
Ballads of the Underworld showcased new orchestral arrangements of music from both Hades and Hades II created specifically for the concert. The production brought together world-class musicians and performers to celebrate the vocal and instrumental work that has accompanied players through both games' mythological journeys.
Mateusz Pawlak, Founder of Game Music Festival, commented on the release: "The music of Hades has such a strong identity and such a devoted audience. We're so happy to be able to give this performance a life beyond the concert hall and make it available to everyone. It was an incredible privilege to work with such a brilliant group of vocalists, musicians and creatives and to capture the performance for audiences around the world."
The concert recording represents one of two major Game Music Festival collaborations from 2026 to receive a professional audio-visual release. Earlier that year, GMF also produced and released The Infernal Symphony, an official Diablo 30th Anniversary concert in partnership with Blizzard Entertainment, which premiered at the same venue on June 6, 2026.
Game Music Festival, founded in 2018, works to champion video-game music as an art form deserving of stage and respect comparable to film scores and classical music. The organization produces official concerts with major game creators and publishers, alongside filmed performances, composer conversations, masterclasses, and soundtrack releases in collaboration with orchestras and cultural institutions worldwide.
