Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: Encore Edition Launches on November 5 for Switch 2

Marvel has announced that Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: Encore Edition is coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026. The new release features an all-new set of glam rock outfits for the Guardians. In this action-adventure game, players step into the role of Star-Lord to lead the unpredictable team through various misadventures.

Optimized specifically for the Switch 2 hardware, the upcoming Encore Edition will include two distinct settings for TV mode. The Quality setting targets 30 frames per second at 1440p resolution, while the Performance setting targets 40 frames per second at 1080p resolution. For portable play, Handheld mode targets 30 frames per second. Additionally, players purchasing the physical release should note that it will be distributed as a Game-Key Card.

The original version of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is already available across multiple other platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox, and PC. Nintendo Switch 2 owners looking forward to the action-adventure title can mark their calendars for the November launch date.
