Grand Theft Auto 6 Confirmed for November 19, 2026 Launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S
Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have held firm on the November 19, 2026 release date for Grand Theft Auto 6, with pre-orders live and a collector's box and soundtrack album scheduled for the same day.

Grand Theft Auto 6 remains on track for November 19, 2026, launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive confirmed the date in November 2025 and have not changed it since, despite two previous delays in the game's development cycle.
The November 19 date now anchors a wider release plan beyond the game itself. Pre-orders opened on June 25 through the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Store and retailers. A 34-track soundtrack album and a $399.99 collector's box themed around Macca the Gator, a TV show inside the game's world, are both dated for November 19. The collector's box does not include the game and orders are limited to one per customer on the Rockstar Store, with shipping starting November 19.
Digital pre-orders include one free month of GTA+. Anyone who pre-orders or buys before November 20 receives the Vintage Vice City Pack. The Standard Edition costs $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition costs $99.99. Physical editions contain a download code rather than a disc. Pre-load begins November 12, 2026.
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick described pre-order levels as unprecedented when the company reported first-quarter results on August 7. Zelnick told investors in May that the company had been clear about the launch date. Take-Two kept its fiscal 2027 net bookings forecast at $8.0 billion to $8.2 billion, linking that projection to the November 19 launch.
Rockstar has released GTA 6 news on each Thursday since late August, most recently the Extended Look gameplay reveal captured on PS5. The footage showed Jason and Lucia in story and open-world gameplay across Vice City. The soundtrack is a partnership with Atlantic Records, featuring artists including Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen, Keith Richards, Rauw Alejandro and Yung Lean.
At launch, GTA 6 will be a single-player experience. Rockstar has not announced an online mode for November 19. The existing GTA Online continues separately. Rockstar has not announced a PC version or release window. GTA 5 reached PC about 19 months after its console launch, while Red Dead Redemption 2 took roughly a year.
