Gachiakuta: Breakout announced for PS5, Xbox, and Steam in 2027

Com2uS has announced that Gachiakuta: Breakout, its survival action RPG based on the globally recognized anime Gachiakuta, will launch in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.

The publisher revealed the game's official title and debuted the first gameplay trailer at the TGS 2026 Xbox Showcase. The game was previously known by the working title Gachiakuta: The Game.

Gachiakuta: Breakout combines cartoon-style visuals with the anime's distinctive art style and features dynamic combat. The trailer showcases key characters including Rudo, Enjin, Zanka, and Riyo, each with distinct weapons and fighting styles. A boss encounter against Jabber demonstrates the combat system, with players controlling Zanka to dodge attacks and exploit openings that require quick decision-making and aggressive action.

The title "Breakout" reflects the game's theme of pushing beyond limits and forging ahead through danger, according to Com2uS.

An official Gachiakuta: Breakout brand website is now live, featuring the logo, gameplay trailer, and additional information. Com2uS plans to share further development updates and game details through the official site, social media channels, and YouTube.
