Fortnitemares Trailer Reveals Hollow Knight Joins Fortnite Collab Lineup

Fortnite's annual Fortnitemares Halloween event begins October 1, bringing a wave of character collaborations across multiple franchises. Epic Games revealed the full lineup in a new trailer, headlined by the surprise addition of Hollow Knight.

Hollow Knight will arrive as a Sidekick during the event, a fitting role given the character's compact size. The indie platformer character joins a substantial roster that includes Five Nights at Freddy's, Hazbin Hotel, Predator, Beetlejuice, and Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street.

Fortnitemares runs for four weeks, concluding November 1 when Chapter 7's final season launches. Additional collaborations may arrive November 15 alongside the next game update.

Collab cosmetics span weapons, character skins, Sidekicks, and other items. Most require purchase through the Item Shop, though some will unlock free through in-game quests.
