Fortnite Reportedly Bringing Five Nights at Freddy’s to Fortnitemares

Epic Games is reportedly bringing Five Nights at Freddy’s to Fortnite for the upcoming Fortnitemares Halloween event. This partnership represents one of the most requested community crossovers in the history of the game. Speculation regarding an upcoming crossover intensified after players noticed a location in the current season that resembles a home for Freddy Fazbear and his crew.

Reliable Fortnite leaker SamLeakss stated on X that the collaboration is fully confirmed for the Halloween festivities. While exact implementation details remain unconfirmed, the crossover is expected to introduce a selection of character skins and an in-map point of interest. Fortnitemares is an annual Halloween takeover event that has previously featured horror franchises such as Saw, Halloween, Friday the 13th, and Poppy’s Playtime.

The major Fortnitemares event is scheduled to begin in October. An update arriving on October 1 could potentially add the collaboration items and content to the game, where they may remain for the duration of the current season. Meanwhile, Chapter 7 is widely expected to conclude with a mini-season starting on November 1, with reports indicating that One Piece could be the primary focus for that update.
