Five Nights at Freddy's arrives in Fortnite for Halloween

Five Nights at Freddy's is officially joining Fortnite for the Halloween season. Epic Games announced the crossover via Fortnite's social media channels.

The collaboration brings the four main animatronics from the horror franchise to the game: Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. Players will also encounter a new Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria location within the battle royale map.

The pizzeria location has been teased in Fortnite for weeks in an unfinished state. Epic Games built anticipation through cryptic posts featuring grainy security footage and quotes from the Five Nights at Freddy's series, foreshadowing the official announcement.

This marks another major licensed crossover for Fortnite's seasonal events. The timing aligns with Fortnite's Halloween celebration, which typically features limited-time cosmetics and map changes tied to popular franchises.
