FL1T Discusses Reuniting with Jame and Role Changes in PARIVISION

Professional Counter-Strike player Evgenii "FL1T" Lebedev has shared details about reuniting with his former Virtus.pro teammates Dzhami "⁠Jame⁠" Ali and Dastan "⁠dastan⁠" Akbayev under the PARIVISION banner. Speaking to HLTV ahead of the FISSURE Playground 3 tournament, the Russian rifler reflected on how Jame's in-game leadership has evolved and how his own competitive role has shifted within their new lineup.

According to FL1T, leading a younger roster has refreshed Jame. "He's still growing as a captain, as a leader, and he's had new young players," FL1T observed. "You can feel that he's refreshed. He's more controlling of the young players in certain areas. His ideas are even stronger and more thought out than they used to be." He attributes these adjustments partly to the constantly evolving meta and the introduction of new strategies and tricks.

FL1T's own responsibilities have also changed, requiring him to shift focus away from purely individual performance to help mentor the roster's three younger members. While his mechanical duties—getting kills and assisting with mid-round and end-of-round calls—remain similar to his time with Virtus.pro, he now spends more energy supporting his teammates.

Additionally, FL1T spoke about the challenges of returning to competitive play after spending time on the bench. While maintaining physical form and mechanical skill was straightforward, catching up to the strategic meta and team communication proved more demanding. "When you're not playing competitively, you sort of fall out of the meta a bit," FL1T explained. Despite those hurdles, he described the transition back to competition as comfortable and noted that his bench period was highly productive, allowing him time to reflect and draw new conclusions about his approach to the game.
