Final Fantasy XIV’s Next Moogle Event and Nintendo Switch Version Sub Fees Both Launch Next Week
Final Fantasy XIV prepares for its latest Moogle Treasure Trove event and subscription fee rollout on the Nintendo Switch version starting next week.
Players diving into Final Fantasy XIV can soon look forward to hunting down unusual tomestones as the latest Moogle Treasure Trove event kicks off on September 9th. According to reports regarding the MMORPG, this upcoming pre-expansion event features multiple parts for players to experience. Alongside the new in-game event, the Nintendo Switch version of Final Fantasy XIV is also set to introduce its subscription fees starting next week.
In broader Square Enix news surrounding the broader franchise, recent updates have highlighted physical releases and demos for other titles. Square Enix recently showcased details on the Square Enix website concerning Final Fantasy VII Revelation, confirming an April 2027 release date and a Game-Key Card release format on the Switch 2 priced at £69.99 / $69.99. The title requires a massive 130GB full game download on launch. Meanwhile, a demo for Final Fantasy Resonance launched on the Nintendo eShop for both Switch and Switch 2, allowing players to experience the entire first chapter and carry their save data over to the full game upon its launch next month.
