Fallout 4 Gets Midwestern Power Armor Creation Inspired by 2001's Fallout: Tactics
The paid Creation includes a custom quest, boss fight, new location, and multiple paint schemes tied to factions from across the series. It's available now on Xbox and PC, with PlayStation coming soon.

Fallout 4 has received a new paid Creation featuring the Midwestern Power Armor, a legendary suit that hasn't been prominently seen since 2001's Fallout: Tactics. Created by Hobgoblin Studios and Local Symmetry, the mod surfaced at the end of July and has since been downloaded more than 1,100 times.
The Midwestern Power Armor Creation costs 500 Creation Credits, around $4.99 in real-world money. The package goes beyond a cosmetic skin, bundling a custom quest designed to obtain the armor, a fully voiced boss fight, and a new location called the Federal Emergency Bunker. Players also get a unique minigun weapon to pair with the suit and multiple customization options.
Paint schemes let players represent factions including the Atom Cats, Nuka Cola, Institute, Minutemen, Enclave, and Brotherhood of Steel. A Tesla variant is included that builds up electrical charges during melee combat. The variety of attachments and customization depth makes this one of the more substantial Creations released for Fallout 4 in recent time.
The Creation is currently available on Xbox and PC. The team behind the mod has confirmed that a PlayStation version will launch soon, though a specific date hasn't been announced.
Since Bethesda Game Studios introduced the Creations platform, it has drawn mixed reactions for paywalling ambitious mods that were previously free on community platforms. The system does ensure modders receive revenue share for their work, though some players remain skeptical of the approach. Regardless, the Midwestern Power Armor Creation demonstrates how the platform can bring substantial new content to Fallout 4 years after its 2015 release.
