Developer SCS Software has released new footage, screenshots, and details regarding the upcoming Coaches expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2. The media showcase highlights how players can purchase and customise a coach using various options. While a coach serves as a significant investment, funds are shared with the standard truck mode, allowing players to acquire vehicles through gameplay effort or utilise available financing and loan options as shortcuts.

Upgrades for the coaches will not be entirely unlocked from the start, with certain features locked behind player progression to create a sense of accomplishment upon gaining levels. Once a coach is owned, players can freely explore the map or take on contract jobs featuring payouts that scale based on difficulty. The expansion adds to a robust lineup of content for the simulation game, which includes previously announced regional map expansions focusing on Iceland, Ireland, and Turkey, alongside ongoing map reworks centered on the UK.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is available on PC, with upcoming PlayStation 5 and Xbox versions also recently announced.
