Epic Mickey: Rebrushed Getting Free Switch 2 Upgrade for Existing Owners

THQ Nordic has announced that existing owners of Epic Mickey: Rebrushed on Nintendo Switch will receive a free upgrade to the Switch 2 version when it launches next month.

The upgrade applies to both digital and physical owners. According to the official FAQ, the process is straightforward: Switch 1 owners should insert their cartridge into the Switch 2 and install the game, or download their digital version, then install the upgrade patch.

For physical cartridge owners, THQ Nordic notes that Epic Mickey: Rebrushed on Switch 2 will be available as a Game Key Card rather than a full cartridge. This distinction affects how physical copies are distributed on the new hardware.
