EA Sports FC 27 Developers Holding Gameplay Steady, No Core Balance Changes Planned
EA Sports has confirmed it will not be making changes to EA FC 27's core gameplay balance in the near term, prioritizing stability as the game settles post-launch. The developers are focusing on bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements instead.

EA Sports has confirmed that EA FC 27 gameplay will remain stable in the coming weeks, with developers holding off on core balance adjustments to allow the experience time to settle following its global release.
In a Discord post, the development team stated they are "not currently considering changes to core gameplay balance." The focus instead remains on addressing bugs and unintended behaviors, such as a Custom Controls issue causing incorrect inputs that was resolved in the latest update.
The team is monitoring how recent tuning changes affect player engagement and Squad Battles difficulty across Ultimate Team. They are also tracking community feedback on Dynamic OVR and Stamina features and their impact on seasonal play, along with observations about player demands and Transfer Market behavior.
Ultimate Team has seen strong early adoption, particularly around the new gallery and tuning adjustments. The developers noted increased Transfer Market usage and are preparing quality-of-life improvements, with a streamlined SBCs companion feature coming soon.
For The Grounds and Clubs, developers are working on feedback related to Kickabouts queue times, Winner Stays, and Win Streaks mechanics.
The development team plans to share additional observations next week and will host dedicated Q&A sessions focused on Career, Gameplay, The Grounds & Clubs, and Ultimate Team. This phased communication approach signals the developers' commitment to transparency as the game's first season progresses.
