Dave the Diver Sales Top 10 Million Units Worldwide

Developer Mintrocket has announced that cumulative sales for its single-player adventure RPG Dave the Diver have officially surpassed 10 million units worldwide. The cozy underwater hunting and sushi restaurant management title reached the milestone after spending time in early access starting in October 2022. According to press disclosures, the 10 million copy milestone was actually crossed back in August, shortly ahead of the game's global mobile launch.

A notable catalyst for recent growth has been the release of the major paid downloadable content titled In the Jungle. That specific expansion has already surpassed one million sold units on its own. Additional growth heading into the 10 million threshold included one million units amassed during a regional soft launch in China. Market tracking estimates indicate that up to 7.2 million of all lifetime copies sold originate from the Steam platform alone, pushing associated platform revenues near the $100 million mark.

With mobile versions for iOS and Android launching in September, the indie adventure is now available across virtually all major contemporary platforms. The game's ecosystem continues to expand beyond the original release, with subsidiary developer Mintrocket and publisher Nexon planning future projects. These include a culinary simulator spin-off titled Bancho The Chef focused on one of the main supporting characters.
